KindCon 2025 – Terms & Conditions 

Effective as of: June 18, 2025

Welcome to KindCon 2025! By registering for the event, you agree to the following terms, which outline your rights and responsibilities as a participant.

  1. General Information

Agreement to Terms
By submitting your registration, you agree to these terms. If you’re registering someone else, you confirm that they’ve read and accepted them too.

Eligibility
You must be 21 years or older to attend KindCon. We reserve the right to deny or remove participants if needed for safety or suitability.

Accurate Information
You agree to provide correct information during registration and to update us if anything changes.

  1. Registration & Payments

Confirmation
Your spot isn’t confirmed until we receive full payment and send you a confirmation email. If you don’t get one within 48 hours, contact us at kindcon@kindsight.io.

Fees

  • Prices are in U.S. Dollars.
  • Taxes may apply.
  • Payment is due at the time of registration.
  • You’re responsible for any bank charges related to the payment.
  • Promotional discounts may not be combined unless stated otherwise.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Full refund (minus processing fees) if you cancel by September 22, 2025.
  • No refunds for cancellations after September 23, 2025 or for no-shows.
  • To cancel, email kindcon@kindsight.io.

Transfers/Substitutions
You may transfer your registration to someone else at your organization until October 2, 2025, at no cost. Please email us to arrange it.

III. Event Changes & Liability

Program Changes & Force Majeure
We may change the schedule, speakers, or venue if necessary. If the event is cancelled or postponed due to events beyond our control (e.g., weather, pandemic, strike), we’re not responsible for costs like travel or lodging.

  • If cancelled: We’ll refund your registration fee.
  • If postponed: Your registration will carry over to the new date (or you may request a refund).

Personal Risk
You attend at your own risk. We aren’t liable for any damages, injuries, or losses related to your participation.

Venue Conduct
You must follow all venue rules. We may remove participants for disruptive or inappropriate behavior without a refund.

Personal Property
You’re responsible for your belongings. We don’t cover lost or stolen items.

  1. Privacy & Media

Your Data
By registering, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use your personal information.

Photography & Video
We may take photos or videos during the event for promotional use. By attending, you agree to this. If you prefer not to be recorded, let us know at the registration desk—we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Content Ownership
All materials, presentations, and logos used at the event are owned by Kindsight or the speakers. You can’t reuse or share them commercially without permission.

  1. Additional Information

Visas
If you’re traveling internationally, you’re responsible for arranging your own visa. We can provide an invitation letter after you register, but it doesn’t guarantee visa approval.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any disputes will be handled in San Francisco County, California.

Entire Agreement
These terms are the complete agreement between you and Kindsight regarding your KindCon participation.

Code of Conduct

We’re committed to making KindCon a welcoming, respectful, and safe experience for everyone. By attending, you agree to uphold a standard of professional and inclusive behavior toward all participants, speakers, and staff.

Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive conduct of any kind will not be tolerated. The Organizer reserves the right to take appropriate action, including removal from the event, if these standards are violated.

If you experience or witness any behavior that doesn’t align with this code, please notify a member of the event team.
