The Pulse of Generosity – Looking at How People Give Now

Depending on what report you read and how you look at it, philanthropy today is either in serious crisis or is doing incredibly well.  It can be difficult to make sense of all of the different reports, studies, trends, and anecdotes in fundraising, so in this session, we’ll be in conversation with Woodrow Rosenbaum, Chief Data Officer at GivingTuesday, to talk about their findings in the recent GivingTuesday 2023 Lookback report.  We’ll also look at how this year’s GivingUSA report and studies from CanadaHelps can inform our work as fundraisers and what lessons we can carry forward into the rest of the year to inform our fundraising and how we engage communities.
